this weekend i went home and discovered how fun powerwashing could be. maybe it's the closet neat freak in me, but i liked watching all of that dirt disappear. also, tagging the walkway was pretty cool, too.
The picture reminded me of an NPR story about a guy in England who left graffiti all over his city by cleaning the dirt off buildings and other dirty places. The authorities didn't know what to do about it. Graffiti: illegal. Cleaning: good citizen.

My mom's business has a powerwasher, too. At fourteen years old, I used to wash the business trucks for 20 bucks a day. But it was a pleasure!
I too have a weird fascination with watching dirt be flung away. So satisfying.
