Agreed when did you go to NYC? You could also possbily be looking at the World Trade Center Site. I'll have to get my inside sorces to help with this puzzle.

there were a lot of street vendors selling memorabiliam (and pirated dvds), and lots of signs discouraging the selling/buying of products so close to the site...
Woo Hoo~ I'm the winner! I never made it to ground zero when we were there last year. I had wanted to, but we simply didn't have enough time. My friend Amy wants me to come back, but I know when I do, we'll spend the entire time shopping!

As I examine more closely, it looks like a pier outside the window. Could you be on a ferry in the New York harbor?
