I hesitate to suggest that this is a Vegas shot because I'm not sure there are enough lights. But I can't think of any other location you could have been too with a city layout that looks like that. Hummm... where in the world is Suz?
yes, i am in vegas- recently visited the grandparents. this shot was taken from on top of the stratosphere- a space needle-esque building on the strip. apparently it's the tallest building west of the mississippi... joe and i went after he picked me up at the airport because he had a virtual cache to do up there (involving findning the number of a payphone at the top and emailing it to the cache creator).
How fun!! I really want GR to do some geocacheing with the young men. I'm still trying to figure out a way to have it count as a scouting activity, but it seems to be alittle to much of a stretch in their (GR and Joe S.) mind.
actually, geocaching is a very close relative of orienteering - which you can get a merit badge for. lots of times, the gps coordinates lead you to a point from which you have to use a compass to find the final cache.
and if it gets scouts interested in orienteering... awesome.

Either Vegas, or sitting behind the screen of a computer running photoshop.
I think the question is probably where in vegas. I don't know the strip that well. . . .
