well, if you leave a comment on someone's blogspot blog, your name is linked to your blogger profile, not your actual blog. So, that might be one way you've racked up the profile views.
It used to be, before I bookmarked everyone that that was my primary way of checking family blogs. Bookmarks are sooo much better.
