my unholy ACTING TALENT...

josh always says that fun doesn't just create itself in jackson... so mix two parts boredom, 1 part creativity, and sprinkle in a couple dozen inside jokes....and you get the gumbo that is no budget pictures. josh and his friends have created 2 feature length films (both bond spoofs) and several shorts over the years, all of which can be viewed on the site. i had the extreme pleasure of being in a no budget short last november, entitled 'garden variety monkey bars'. jon reno, nbp webmaster extraordinare, finally got the full short up on the site a few weeks ago, so i encourage you all to check it out. it's only about 20 minutes, and you'll gain new material to make fun of me with...who could ask for more? if you're feeling even more adventurous, sample the other nbp wares. my personal favorites are 'thunderblah!' and 'systems engaged' (i'm in it for about 2 seconds- play 'where's suz?'). for the super-adventurous, leave a note on the nbp forum about how much you loved the movies. the guys always like to hear from new people, especially if they're singing praises.

this shameless plug for no budget pictures was in no way influenced by the members of nbp or its affiliates.

see suz act. act, suz, act.

yeah, i swiped this picture from the site... please dont sue me, jon.

Good for you! Next thing you know, you'll be walking over subway grates in a white dress. =)

I just saw GVMB--The best parts are the ones with you in it. You make a great abuser.

Any more movies in your future?

yay! i'm so happy. the very last scene i'm in was the first that i filmed...which explains why my character is a little nicer than usual. another interesting filming tidbit- the scenes at the front desk were filmed with absolutely no cross-interaction. jon set up the camera on one side, one of us held the script up, and one person read their lines off one after the other. ah, the power of editing.

i hope to do more in the future. now that i've been in one, i think i'd do much better in another. jon has some huge secret script in the works, and there's supposedly a part for me in it. josh has several shorts he's been developing, and there's talk of a 3rd blah movie underway. the future is full of possibilities.
