'ugh, this costume is so damn heavy'

i've been trying really hard to think up of a halloween costume for this year. usually i'll dress up as a movie character- past costumes include margot tennenbaum, holly golightly (pictured below), and mia wallace (from pulp fiction). this year's going to be a little more difficult because josh has expressed interest in having a dual costume- and two are harder to plan than one. ideas generated thus far:
1. mitch and mickey from a mighty wind
2. david st. hubbins and janine from spinal tap
3. the dude and maude from the big lebowski
so far none of these has gained any substantial favor with either of us, with possible exception of #3 because josh really likes that movie and quotes it all the time. i personally like #1 because i think it's the most doable. if anyone has suggestions, they will certainly be taken into consideration- the more obscure the better.

*interesting side note- the green thing with wings behind me is parley- dressed as tinkerbell. i sewed his dress myself. we attached little tinsle pom poms to his chucks- it was cute.

I say you should go as V and Claire from CNMB or whatever the proper acronym is. You could hand out copies of your debut hit movie to people who ask you who you are supposed to be. Act like they are COMPLETE idiots for not having guest. Gosh. Hasn't everyone seen your movie? The best part is you get to punch Josh all night. Got to stay in character and make it convincing.

Or you could go as seymour and audrey from Little Shop of Horrors. I like that idea.

OK this is off topic, but sort of related.... Would the tinkerbell costume fit Emily? I love the wings... shoes I can to it's the rest that I'm having a hard time finding in her size.

some good ideas so far- mom suggested bonnie and clyde, and i kind of like that one... kate- i dont know what happened to the dress- it wasnt very high calibur to begin with (we got about a yard of green fabric and sewed it to a strapless bra). parley does still have the wings- they were purchased at hot topic where he works.

and the girl next to me was dressed as lara croft: tomb raider.
