pretty in.....canvas...

one weekend when i was down in jackson, josh needed to go out to his dad's farm to feed the hunting dogs they keep there. there are four total, and they're all very sweet and friendly. josh's dad usually takes them out for walks every day when they're fed, but i guess he had other things to do that day. i offered to help, and since it was really cold out, i got to wear his big coveralls and rubber boots. we shoveled the caged areas out, gave them fresh water, and filled up their food bowls. josh was very impressed that i was willing get down and dirty- he said something like 'this reminds me of those movies when really rich pretty girls are forced to do manual labor'

I think they should feed them live hamsters to keep them on form. Either that or baby rabbits.

Doesn't Josh know that we've all done manual labor since before we were toilette trained?

I agree about the costumes. You should either dress as laborers or you could go as Mirage and Syndrome from the Incredibles.

One of the things that always impressed me (and continues to) about my mom & dad was/is how hard they can work--and that they enjoy it. It is really nice to see this without exception in my own children. Way to go--keep suprising people!
