uber-congratulate me...

so i just got another raise at work today. i was pretty shocked , and it's a good raise too. i keep thinking that my boss is always dissatisfied with my performance, but i guess i misinterperet things. either that or this is reverse psychology.

after my first raise, my boss asked me to broaden my knowledge of clinic practices and learn more about billing. so, for example, i started learning drug names and where we keep them, so that when reps come with samples, i knew where to find what we have and if we need any more. i also went though all the drug cabinets and pulled out the expired meds. we're trying to find something to do with all of them.....they apparently have a shelf life beyond the exp date up to 7 yrs. if in original packaging.... i've also learned how to do online medicare billing, and will be going to a training session in jefferson city to learn online medicaid billing. so i must be doing something right...

anyway, i'm pretty happy about it.

also, jon and i went running for the first (and probably only) time this week, but i ran farther than ever before, and jon was really proud.....and then called me a baby for not going further.

Good job on the raise. I've heard that a lot of expired medications are shipped to the third world. You could try that, or maybe sell them on the internet =)

Glad you have had success in running.

I'd be careful about selling them online. Laws and all that. Definately go for the third world. We don't have standards anyway.

i obviously cant sell them (the companies would never give us new ones again if we did that)....one of the doctors was saying that someone from the university used to come around and pick them up...and i've heard that expired meds cant go overseas...

i'll figure out something
